I was thinking back to past visits I have been on, and I thought about the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. This is where I first discovered Sophie Ryder's work. Something about it instantly caught my attention and made me love the work. I didn't know what this was at first, but I think it's the size of the pieces and the material in which these are created. I loved the hybrid hare/women sculptures that were exhibited here especially the one shown above. The scale of this piece was just incredible as it was so big and made it look so powerful and strong.
