I took out a book from the library today entitled still bored. This appealed to me as it is designs for skate, surf and snow boards, all of which I have an interest in. The design concepts on some of them are fantastic and I discovered that a lot of them are really brightly coloured. This inspires me with my work as I'd like to work with some of the more natural themes within a similar style but also use the brightly coloured work and use of pattern within some of my own work. It also opens up another possibility of where illustration and graphic design can be used as well as within books, magazines, newspapers and artwork for bands etc.
